Create a Walking Stick Workshop

Come out and learn a new skill! Join GSWA and retired Science teacher turned walking-stick-guru for a fun-filled DIY workshop. Learn how to make your very own walking stick and hit the trails with confidence. You will choose from a variety of rough sticks including red cedar, maple, beech, and iron wood to get the custom look you want. At the end of this workshop, you will walk away with a fully-finished product and the knowledge of how to create more walking sticks on your own! All tools and safety equipment will be provided. Space is extremely limited so don’t miss out. Price: $30 for members, $35 for non-members.
